"Hines Secures $1.3B Tampa Stadium and Mixed-Use Development in Houston"

The Tampa Bay Rays have successfully secured a deal with the city of St. Petersburg and Pinellas County to construct a state-of-the-art $1.3 billion stadium in the Historic Gas Plant District, currently occupied by Tropicana Field. In collaboration with Houston-based development firm Hines, the team has officially announced their agreement on a term sheet for developing the 86-acre property.
