The property is bounded by 6th and 7th Streets to the north and south, and Calhoun and Jones Streets to the east and west. Previously owned by Oncor for many years, Hillwood is currently evaluating potential uses for this valuable parcel of land.
According to Steve Aldrich of Hillwood, “The location of this site offers great flexibility for an exceptional development project that could include office space, residential units or mixed-use facilities.” This investment by Hillwood further solidifies their commitment to Fort Worth as they have been actively involved with various projects within the city over the past 35 years.
One notable development is Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport which spans over 27 acres with more than 560 companies operating on its premises. This has resulted in significant economic impact amounting to $111 billion regionally along with creating approximately direct jobs.
Situated at the forefront of downtown’s rapidly expanding southern corridor lies this newly acquired property by Hillwood. It also enjoys close proximity to Texas A&M Fort Worth campus as well as being near popular attractions such as Fort Worth Convention Center.
