High Street Residential and River Street Partners have successfully topped out at 700 River, a new residential tower in Austin’s vibrant Rainey District. The 377-unit high-rise, located at 700 River Street, has reached its maximum height of 500 feet and is set to welcome its first residents in fall of 2024. Construction on the project began in October of 2022.
The surrounding area is bustling with activity as two other projects of similar size are currently being built on the same street. Additionally, there are six towers under construction or nearing completion within the immediate Rainey area.
Soaring up to an impressive height of 43 stories, this modern tower will offer a variety of studio to three-bedroom apartments as well as exclusive penthouse units with breathtaking views overlooking Lady Bird Lake. Residents will also have access to over thirty thousand square feet of private amenities right on site and convenient access to the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail just outside their front door.
HKS Architects has designed this landmark project with collaboration from Lake Flato Architects while DPR Construction serves as general contractor for its development.
