Proper Hospitality and Lincoln Property Company have announced a joint venture to develop a 34-story mixed-use tower in Uptown Dallas. The new development, known as Dallas Proper Hotel & Residences, will include 200 luxury hotel rooms and 80 high-end residences on the upper floors.

Located on a 4-acre site just off Cedar Springs Road, the project will incorporate a wide range of amenities designed to appeal to both residents and hotel guests. These include a 15,000-square-foot wellness center, a private rooftop pool for residents, a dining terrace, and a lounge area.

The development will also feature the “Proper Club,” an exclusive, members-only facility within the tower. The club will offer 6,000 square feet of social and work space, a restaurant, bar, pool, and lounge.

Construction on the project is scheduled to begin in 2026, with completion targeted for 2029.

Proper Hospitality currently operates luxury hotels in Austin, Santa Monica, Downtown Los Angeles, and San Francisco. The company also manages Avalon Hotels, which is part of its boutique hospitality portfolio.

The building will be designed by renowned architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Lincoln Property Company acquired the land for the development in March 2024.
