"High-Rise Condos/Hotel Development by Ft. Lauderdale Developer"

A diverse collection of motels, shops, and bars in Fort Lauderdale will soon be replaced by a luxurious development consisting of 500 condos, 373 hotel rooms, retail/restaurant space spanning over 23,000 square feet and outdoor dining area covering an impressive 10.465 square feet. According to the South Florida Business Journal’s report on the project called Las Olas Ocean, the two towers with a height of twenty-nine stories each will be located west of the beach near A1A. The parking garages which are eight-stories high will house all the hotel rooms.

The design for this project includes gradually decreasing heights for the parking structure as it approaches closer to the beach resembling a staircase until it is only one story tall along with sidewalk adjacent to sand. This week they expect approval from local planning board.

This venture between property owners Aiton Yaari and Lior Avidor covers an expansive area measuring at least4 .35 acres. The retail outlets and restaurants would face towardsthe ocean while an internal pedestrian path known as paseo would lead fromthe beach into this development throughto reach out onto A1A.
