PREMIER Design + Build Group has recently finished construction on the new headquarters for Heathrow Scientific, a leading global provider of laboratory supplies and instruments. The state-of-the-art facility, spanning 113,000 square feet in Vernon Hills, Illinois serves as the central hub for all of the company’s manufacturing, laboratory and office operations.
After demolishing an existing structure on site, PREMIER constructed a modern two-story building with versatile mixed-use space including a large laboratory area. The facility also boasts 12 dock positions and two drive-in doors to accommodate logistics needs.

ARLINGTON — It wasn’t easy or pretty at times (especially if you’re talking about Ian Kinsler’s error), but it was effective enough for the Texas Rangers who beat Detroit Tigers ace Justin Verlander en route to taking Game One of this American League Championship Series by winning Friday night’s game against Detroit Tigers ace Justin Verlander by scoring three runs off him early before holding off late charges from Miguel Cabrera & Co., eventually winning it thanks largely due some great pitching performances (including C.J Wilson) which helped them secure their 3-2 victory.
What it means: The Rangers have taken a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series against the Tigers. They now have to win three more games before they can advance to their second consecutive World Series appearance.
The good:
C.J Wilson: He was at his best when he needed to be, and that’s what you want from your ace. He gave up two runs on six hits with one walk and seven strikeouts over 7⅔ innings of work. His only mistake came in the eighth inning when Victor Martinez hit a solo home run off him (the first homer he has given up since Aug.31). But by then, Wilson had done enough damage control for Alexi Ogando & Neftali Feliz who combined for four outs without giving up any runs or walks while striking out two batters between them.
Ian Kinsler’s bat: After committing an error which led directly to Detroit scoring its first run of Game One, Ian Kinsler made amends with his bat by hitting Verlander’s third pitch into left field stands for a leadoff home-run which put Texas ahead early on Friday night’s game
Elvis Andrus’ speed : Elvis Andrus’ speed is always going be an asset but it was especially so tonight as he scored all three times after getting on base via singles twice & once thanks largely due some great pitching performances (including C.J Wilson) which helped them secure their 3-2 victory.
Adrian Beltre’s glove : Adrian Beltre continued where he left off during ALDS Game Four against Tampa Bay Rays earlier this week as far as making excellent plays at third base goes — including one particularly impressive play where dove towards foul territory before throwing out Miguel Cabrera at first base from his knees – although there were no highlight-reel plays like those we saw last time around .
The bad:
Ian Kinsler’s glove: Ian Kinsler’s error in the fourth inning led to Detroit scoring its first run of Game One. He also had a chance to get out of that inning without giving up any runs but he failed to turn an easy double play which would have ended it.
The ugly:
Nelson Cruz’s injury scare : Nelson Cruz appeared to be in some discomfort after sliding into second base during the bottom half of fifth inning. But he stayed on and played through his pain before being replaced by Craig Gentry as a pinch runner for him at end of sixth innings.
What’s next? The Rangers will face off against Tigers ace Justin Verlander again when they meet Saturday afternoon (3:19 p.m.) for Game Two at Rangers Ballpark In Arlington.

Abstract:
The impact factor (IF) is a widely used indicator for evaluating journals and their articles’ quality by measuring the frequency with which an average article has been cited in a particular year. This paper revisits the IF game from a sociological perspective based on diffusion processes and editorial strategies as well as on empirical data from journal citation reports (JCR). We argue that there are two different types of journals: those that have high IFs due to their own merits and those whose high IFs are mainly due to citations received by other highly ranked journals they cite
