"Harborview Properties Acquires Foreclosed Asset through Auction Purchase"

MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC recently facilitated the sale of a three-story office building located at 5410 Indian Head Highway in Oxon Hill, Prince George’s County, Maryland. The property was sold for $2.3 million.

The previous owner, Indian Head Assets, had acquired the building through auction earlier this year and enlisted MacKenzie Commercial as their exclusive sales broker. David McClatchy, Senior Vice President and Principal at MacKenzie Commercial handled the transaction. After just 90 days on the market with MacKenzie’s assistance, Harborview Properties purchased the property which was previously 95% vacant.

Harborview Properties is a commercial real estate division of Harborview Dental Associates – a specialized dental practice offering general dentistry services as well as orthodontics and oral surgery procedures. On the other hand, Indian Head Assets is a partnership based in Baltimore that focuses on investing in foreclosed commercial properties such as offices buildings or retail spaces.
