Harbor Group International Buys Myrtle Beach Multifamily Property

Affiliates of Harbor Group International, LLC recently acquired Artisan Carolina Forest, a 276-unit multifamily community in Myrtle Beach, S.C., for $64.4 million. Northmarq’s John Currin facilitated the transaction.

Situated centrally to Myrtle Beach’s recreation and leisure offerings, Artisan Carolina Forest was developed in 2022 and features an impressive amenity package for its residents to enjoy. The property is adjacent to the Marketplace at the Mill shopping center providing nearby retail options as well as close proximity to several medical centers that serve as key employers in the area.

Commenting on this acquisition Chief Investment Officer – Multifamily Yisroel Berg said: “With affordable rents relative to other high-growth coastal cities, Myrtle Beach is one of South Carolina’s most attractive multifamily markets.” He continued “As a newly developed luxury community we anticipate substantial opportunity here; acquiring a strong renter base at Artisan Carolina Forest while achieving steady rent growth due its location attracting new residents.”
