Hackensack Downtown Redevelopment: Multifamily Site Yielding Results

NAI James E. Hanson arranged the sale of a 30,800-square-foot redevelopment site located at 75, 77 and 81 Linden Stt. as well as 80 and 84 Vanderbeck Pl. in Hackensack, NJ to M&M Development LLC for redevelopment into a residential community. VP Anthony Cassano represented both the seller – the estate of Donald Gonzalez – and buyer during negotiations for this five adjacent lot transaction within Hackensack’s Downtown Rehabilitation Zone near NJ Transit Anderson Street train station which is zoned for medium-density multifamily and offices use.

Cassano also recently negotiated another nearby redevelopment site at 107 & 109 Anderson St., approved by local authorities to yield 234 residential units with ground floor retail space included in its design plans; these two projects are part of an impressive commitment from Hackensack towards urban regeneration initiatives that have been undertaken over recent years according to Cassano himself: “When a town truly commits to a redevelopment plan like Hackensack has, it’s impressive to witness all that can be accomplished.”
