**H Mart to Open First Fort Worth-Area Location in Haltom City**

H Mart, the well-known Asian supermarket chain, is set to open its first location in the Fort Worth area and third in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. The company plans to build a 43,000-square-foot store in a large shopping center at an estimated cost of $9 million.

Located in Haltom City, about 10 miles north of downtown Fort Worth, the new store will be situated at North Beach Street and Northeast Loop 820. It will serve as the anchor tenant for a retail center featuring more than 50 stores, including restaurants, bakeries, coffee and tea shops, and salons. Construction is expected to be completed by December, with FTC Architects overseeing the design.

According to reports, the shopping center is already approximately 85-90% leased.

This development is part of a larger project involving a partnership between Haltom City, Mercantile Partners LP, KBC Advisors, Velocis, and Haltom City Forest Properties LLC. In addition to the H Mart store, the project includes a $42 million, four-building industrial park. Haltom City is supporting the initiative through Chapter 380 incentives.
