**H-E-B Acquires 22 Acres in Flower Mound for Future Store**
Texas-based supermarket chain H-E-B has purchased 22 acres of land in Flower Mound, Texas. The property, located at the northeast corner of FM 1171 and US 377, is part of the expansive Furst Ranch, a 2,300-acre mixed-use development.
According to a preliminary concept plan submitted to the town, the new site could also include a fuel station, signaling a comprehensive retail presence in the area.
Furst Ranch is slated to include approximately 3,000 single-family homes, 6,000 multifamily housing units, and 500,000 square feet of retail space, in addition to public parks. The development is being led by Starwood Land, Lincoln Property Company, and Ramrock Real Estate LLC.
Infrastructure construction for the first phase of Furst Ranch is scheduled to begin in October and is expected to be completed by April, with an estimated cost of $30 million. Residential construction for the first phase of homes is projected to commence in 2027.
