H-E-B Continues Dallas-Area March: An Update on the Latest Developments

H-E-B, a San Antonio-based grocer, is set to open its fifth DFW project in summer 2025. The store will be located in Melissa and is expected to span 131,000 square feet with an additional 24,000 square feet of retail space for a pharmacy and True Texas BBQ restaurant. This new location will cost over $42 million and provide employment opportunities for approximately 600 individuals.

In addition to the planned Melissa store, H-E-B has recently opened stores in Frisco, Plano McKinney,and Allen. The company’s expansion into North Texas showcases their commitment to growth within the region.

With over 430 stores and more than155,000 employees across Texas and Mexico,H-E-B holds the title as the largest privately held employer in Texas.This latest development further solidifies their presence as they continue their march into Dallas-area markets.
