Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., based in Georgia, is expanding its presence at the Fort Worth Alliance Airport with a new 108,000 square foot building. The $10 million project is scheduled to begin this summer and be completed by June 2024. The facility will include offices, shipping and receiving areas as well as light industrial space.
This expansion follows Gulfstream’s October opening of a 160,000 square foot hangar that included back shops, support areas and office space for an estimated cost of $55 million. This larger facility has already created 50 jobs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area; it is expected that the additional construction will create even more job opportunities for local residents.
Gulfstream’s continued investment into Dallas-Fort Worth demonstrates their commitment to providing quality aircraft maintenance services while also contributing positively to economic growth in Texas’ largest metropolitan area.
