JLL has announced the sale of a 14,589-square-foot flex building located at 224 SE 2nd Street in Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood. The Class B building was recently renovated by Beam Development and Urban Development + Partners to attract new tenants and eventually be sold.
The off-market sale was facilitated by JLL, with Sherpa Design as the buyer. The seller was represented by a team from JLL led by Managing Director Buzz Ellis of Capital Markets and Vice President Annalore Rodman of Agency Leasing. According to Rodman, both Beam Development and UD+P are well-respected local firms that have collaborated with JLL for many years. In fact, in 2018 they worked together on improving this industrial space to make it more attractive for various tenant uses.
Sherpa Design is a product development, engineering services, and manufacturing firm that has been in business for over two decades. They will be relocating from another site within Portland into their new expanded space.
This transaction marks another successful deal arranged by JLL in the commercial real estate market.
