Group P6, a renowned real estate development company, recently acquired a property just west of the popular Aventura Mall for $16.07 million. The property is located in the Ojus Urban District and has been earmarked for a mixed-use project.

The buyer was able to secure a mortgage of $2.5 million from Centennial Bank to finance the purchase. According to reports by South Florida Business Journal, this parcel was originally purchased for $615,000 in 2003 and then again for $3.6 million in 2016.

Star Holdings Management was the previous owner of this site and had filed plans with county officials to develop it into an impressive project called “The Gateway.” This proposed development would span over 645,941 square feet across 18 stories and include amenities such as 210 apartments, offices spanning over 107,000 square feet , retail space measuring at least18 ,250 square feet ,and parking facilities that can accommodate up to468 vehicles.
