**GroundFloor to Lead Seguin’s Downtown Redevelopment Effort**

Following a recent vote by the Seguin City Council, GroundFloor has been selected to lead a transformative mixed-use redevelopment project in downtown Seguin. The plan includes the potential addition of a boutique hotel, along with flexible event and meeting spaces, as well as retail and restaurant establishments.

A key feature of the redevelopment is the preservation of the historic Nolte Building, which dates back to the late 1800s. Located about 36 miles east of San Antonio, Seguin is known for its rich history and commitment to revitalizing its urban core.

GroundFloor brings extensive experience to the project, having previously partnered on multiple mixed-use developments, including one with the City of Garland.

“This is a visionary step forward for Seguin,” said Mayor Donna Dodgen. “We are taking control of our downtown’s future and setting the stage for a transformation that will benefit generations to come. Our goal is to enrich our community with exceptional retail and dining options, and this is just the beginning. Let’s make our downtown a vibrant and thriving hub that will captivate both residents and visitors alike!”

The initiative marks a major milestone in Seguin’s broader push to create a dynamic and engaging downtown environment, ensuring growth while honoring its historical roots.
