"Groundbreaking for Denver's Fox Park Development Commences"

Crews at Fox Park development have begun the initial stages of construction, focusing on roadwork, water line installation and constructing a two-story underground parking garage.

According to the Denver Business Journal, demolition of the old Denver Post press building is scheduled for April in order to make room for a 12-story office building and a 250-room Virgin Hotel. This will be one of two hotels planned for the property, with potential expansion up to 521 rooms. The offices will house various tenants including World Trade Center Denver and URWLD, an entertainment company based in London. Additionally, local retailers as well as cultural spaces such as galleries or performance venues will also be included in this development.

In partnership with Mexico City-based Interland , Pure Development acquired the Globeville property for $56.5 million back in 2019.

The entire project is estimated to cost around $4.5 billion and will add over 10 million square feet of commercial, residential and cultural space to North Denver.
