"Groundbreaking for Denver's Fox Park Development Commences"

Construction has begun at Fox Park development in Denver, with crews working on roadways, water lines, and a two-story underground parking garage. According to the Denver Business Journal, the first signs of life at this site include plans for a 12-story office building and a 250-room Virgin Hotel. The old Denver Post press building will be demolished by April to make way for these developments.

This is just the beginning of what is envisioned as a multi-phase project that could eventually include two hotels with up to 521 rooms total. In addition to commercial spaces such as offices for World Trade Center Denver and URWLD entertainment company from London, there will also be local retailers, grocery stores, and cultural areas.

The property was purchased in 2019 by Pure Development and Interland from Mexico City for $56.5 million. The entire project is estimated to cost around $4.5 billion and will add over 10 million square feet of mixed-use space including residential units in North Denver.
