Construction has officially begun at Fox Park development in Denver, with crews currently focused on roadwork, installing water lines, and constructing a two-story underground parking garage. According to the Denver Business Journal, the first signs of life at this site include plans for a 12-story office building and a 250-room Virgin Hotel. This is just one of two hotels planned for the property, with potential for up to 521 rooms in total. The offices will also be home to tenants such as World Trade Center Denver and URWLD – a London-based leisure and entertainment company.
In addition to these commercial spaces, there will also be local retailers, a grocery store, and cultural areas included in this development project. Pure Development partnered with Mexico City-based Interland back in 2019 when they purchased the Globeville property for $56.5 million.
The overall cost of this massive project is estimated at $4.5 billion dollars and it will add over 10 million square feet of commercial, residential, and cultural space to North Denver’s landscape. This exciting new venture marks an important step forward for Fox Park development as it begins its transformation into an innovative hub that promises economic growthand community enrichment.
