### Greenstone Partners Facilitates Sale of Chipotle-Anchored Retail Property in Chicago
Greenstone Partners has successfully closed the sale of 1733-1735 N. Damen Avenue, a 4,747-square-foot, two-tenant retail property in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. Fully leased by Chipotle and Playa Bowls, the property sold for 99% of the list price.
Representing the seller, a Chicago-based investment and development firm, were Greenstone Partners’ Danny Spitz and Brewster Hague. This transaction marks Greenstone’s 70th investment sale in the Wicker Park and Bucktown neighborhoods, bringing their total transaction volume in the submarket to $196 million.
Chipotle has been a tenant at the property since 2004 and recently exercised its final five-year renewal option. Playa Bowls, a rapidly expanding franchise with over 200 locations across 22 states, signed a new 10-year lease for this site—its first in Illinois.
The property enjoys a prime location, surrounded by national retailers such as Barnes & Noble, Adidas Originals, YETI, Starbucks Reserve, and Lululemon, making it a highly desirable retail investment.
