Greenstone Partners and ISS Add New Chicago and North America Leadership Hires

Leadership and talent investments at brokerage, investment and corporate real estate solutions firms in Chicago and the Midwest suggest continued focus on capital markets advisory and occupier-driven strategies.

Greenstone Partners reported that Alex Cohen has joined the firm as an investment associate. According to the firm, Cohen brings advisory experience across more than $315 million of urban Chicago investment sales and nationwide capital markets transactions, adding additional transaction background to the company's investment sales platform.

ISS has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Brian Velo as senior vice president of sales for ISS North America. Before joining ISS, Velo was senior managing director at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, where he was responsible for enterprise solutions. Prior to his tenure at CBRE, he worked at Cushman & Wakefield Global Occupier Services, overseeing new business development for the eastern region of the United States.

Brennan Investment Group announced that Harrison Wright has been promoted to vice president, corporate real estate solutions. In this new position, Wright will focus on originating and executing corporate real estate solutions on a nationwide basis. His mandate includes partnering with occupiers on strategies involving surplus real estate assets as well as sale-leaseback structures.

Indianapolis-based Ambrose, a vertically integrated investment manager, detailed several internal promotions across the organization. The firm promoted Dan Kmiecik and Todd Justus to the role of senior development manager, reflecting expanded responsibilities on development initiatives. In addition, Ambrose elevated David Dunbar to the role of market officer, adding leadership capacity on the firm's market-facing activities.

PREMIER Design + Build Group reported that Dan Taylor has been promoted to vice president of the firm's Columbus office. Taylor has more than two decades of construction experience spanning mission-critical, industrial, multifamily, and luxury high-rise residential projects. Since joining PREMIER Design + Build Group, he has established himself as a key leader within the Columbus operation, and his new role formalizes his expanded leadership responsibilities.
