"Greensboro MOB: Atrium Health Building with $163M Investment"

A new medical campus is being launched in Greensboro by Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist (AHWFB), with the construction of a $163 million medical office building. The project, located at 2909 Horse Pen Creek Road, is the first development on the Winston-Salem health system’s property and will consist of a five-story, 134,000-square-foot building.

The facility will house various services including a surgery center and cancer center. The ambulatory surgery center alone has an estimated cost of $30 million. Set to open in 2026, it will also feature specialty clinics for cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery and orthopaedics as well as offering imaging services pharmacy and physical therapy.

The hospital’s grand opening is scheduled for January 2029.
