"Greensboro MOB: Atrium Health Building Costs $163M"

A new medical campus in Greensboro is being launched by Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist (AHWFB) with the construction of a $163 million medical office building. The project, located at 2909 Horse Pen Creek Road, is the first development on the Winston-Salem health system’s property and will consist of a five-story, 134,000-square-foot facility.

The building will house various services including a surgery center and cancer center. An ambulatory surgery center with an estimated cost of $30 million will also be part of this project. Scheduled to open in 2026, it will offer specialty clinics for cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery and orthopaedics as well as imaging services such as pharmacy and physical therapy.

The hospital’s anticipated opening date is set for January 2029.
