Google is vacating its office in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood after occupying it for over seven years. The space, located at 437 N 34th Street and spanning approximately 52,000 square feet, was subleased from Salesforce who acquired the original tenant Tableau in 2019. According to the Puget Sound Business Journal, real estate development group Hess Callahan Grey Group (HCG Group) has announced that PATH, a global health nonprofit organization, will be taking over the entire space.
PATH will be relocating its headquarters to West Dock building after being based in South Lake Union for fifteen years. HCG Group purchased and fully renovated the former gym facility in 2014 and offers unobstructed views of the ship canal with direct access to Burke-Gilman Trail. They have also developed other buildings such as Watershed Building and Northlake Commons which showcases large-scale CLT mass timber properties.
