Google is set to open its first retail store in the Washington, D.C. region later this year at 3235 M Street NW.

The tech giant has signed a 10-year lease with EastBanc for a 7,000-square-foot space, marking its sixth retail location nationwide. JLL represented Google in the transaction, while EastBanc handled its own representation.

“EastBanc is excited to welcome Google to Georgetown, one of its select retail locations nationwide,” said Philippe Lanier, Principal at EastBanc. “The arrival of Google not only solidifies the neighborhood’s reputation as a premier hub for innovative shopping experiences and cutting-edge brands but also provides many shoppers with their first opportunity to experience these incredible products firsthand while surrounded by Google experts.”

The D.C.-area store will offer services including on-site device repair, trade-ins, in-store expert support for device installation and troubleshooting, along with various programs and educational workshops. Google’s presence in Georgetown adds to a growing list of technology and lifestyle retailers in the area, including Tesla, Skims, and Glossier.
