"Google Expands Computing Capacity"

In Fort Worth, Google has secured a 1.1 million-square-foot warehouse in the Silver Creek Business Park. This business park, located at 9449 Silver Creek Road, is part of a larger development by Majestic Realty spanning over 520 acres.

According to the Fort Worth Report, Google has announced plans for data center campuses in Midlothian and Red Oak and intends to invest approximately $1 billion in Texas by 2024. This will bring their total investment in North Texas to around $2.4 billion.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area was selected as one of Google’s Cloud regions where they will invest in infrastructure and data centers for the region. The full build out of Majestic’s Silver Creek Business Park will cover an impressive 6.5 million square feet with Majestic also playing a role as a partner in developing the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.

This news highlights how Google continues to expand its computing capabilities through strategic investments across various locations.
