**Goody’s Restaurant Signs 15-Year Lease at Manhattan’s Historic Woolworth Building**
Cammeby’s, a New York-based development, investment, management, and leasing company, has signed a 15-year lease agreement with French-inspired restaurant Goody’s. The new eatery will occupy a 5,000-square-foot ground-floor space at the iconic Woolworth Building located at 9 Barclay Street in Lower Manhattan.
The space, which was previously home to Wooly Public, will undergo a full transformation in preparation for Goody’s debut. The Woolworth Building, one of the city’s few interior landmarked structures, is known for its architectural significance and historical legacy.
“Announcing Goody’s is a significant part of our bigger-picture goal toward reshaping and reimagining this historic building,” said Avi Schron, Principal at Cammeby’s. “We’re elevating the Woolworth Building into a premier destination centered around the beauty of New York City’s culture, creativity, and innovation. The uniqueness of Goody’s and the exceptional ground floor space in which it will operate is the perfect fit for the building’s next chapter.”
The lease deal was brokered by David Ofman and Brian Siegel of The Lawrence Group, who represented the landlord. Goody’s did not have representation in the transaction.
