"Goodyear Welcomes Sub-Zero's Second Major Plant Opening"

Sub-Zero has recently completed the construction of a new manufacturing plant in Goodyear. The state-of-the-art facility spans 600,000 square feet and cost $118 million to build. Developed by ViaWest Group and constructed by Willmeng, the plant is situated on a 36-acre property at Camelback Road and Cotton Lane.

According to an article from the Phoenix Business Journal, this is Sub-Zero’s second location in Goodyear following its initial expansion into the city back in 2011 as one of the first manufacturers at PV 303 industrial corridor. Since then, numerous employers have joined Sub-Zero at this bustling industrial hub. In addition to its first location, Sub-Zero also expanded its operations with an additional 240,000 square feet of space in Goodyear back in 2015.

The new expansion project is expected to create over five years approximately143 jobs with average annual wages of $52,000 each for employees working there.Subsequently,the company will be investing over$220 million between both West Valley locations.

Headquarteredin Madison,Wisconsin,theSub- ZeroGroup specializesinthe productionand saleofluxury kitchen appliances including WolfandCove products.This latest development marks another milestone for their growing presence withintheGoodyear community.
