The renowned Buc-ee’s franchise originated in Texas and has since expanded to 50 locations primarily in Sunbelt states. The latest addition will be in Goodyear, Arizona, where the company recently acquired 22 acres of land for $17 million. This new store will span an impressive 75,000 square feet and feature numerous gas pumps – possibly making it the largest location yet.
With plans to operate around-the-clock every day of the year, this Buc-ee’s is expected to provide over 200 job opportunities for local residents. Phoenix-based Velocity Retail Group played a key role in securing this highly anticipated expansion into the Western United States after a four-year search.
Unlike traditional truck stops, Buc-ee’s caters specifically to travelers and families driving along major highways like I-10. As such, its presence is sure to be welcomed by those passing through Goodyear on their journeys across Arizona.
This exciting development marks another milestone for Buc-ee’s as it continues its successful growth outside of its home state without compromising on quality or customer experience.
