The Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative recently convened its third annual Impact Summit, bringing commercial real estate professionals together at the Union League Club of Chicago. The gathering served as a platform for the organization to spotlight the role of its community in advancing women in the industry and to recognize the individuals who contribute time and resources to its mission.
More than 200 professionals from across the commercial real estate sector attended the event. Programming centered on acknowledging the volunteers, mentors, and donors whose efforts support the organization and help shape the experience of Goldie Scholars. Over the 2025-26 school year, the program has focused on demonstrating how this network can influence the academic and professional trajectories of its scholars and foster stronger industry engagement.
The Impact Summit also marked a moment of recognition for 2026 graduates and award recipients. Attendees celebrated their accomplishments alongside the broader community, underscoring the multi-layered support system that surrounds Goldie Scholars. The event highlighted how ongoing contributions from industry participants help sustain and expand that support over time.
Award winners at the Impact Summit were selected based on the four central pillars of The Goldie Initiative’s programming: Scholarship, Networking, Mentoring, and Leadership. Honorees were recognized for their contributions aligned with these focus areas, which form the framework for how the organization engages with students and professionals. By tying recognition to these pillars, the summit reinforced the importance of academic achievement, relationship-building, professional guidance, and leadership development within commercial real estate.
This year’s Impact Summit also introduced an expanded networking component. The program added The Goldie Initiative’s Networking Power Circles, an interactive session designed to extend the organization’s networking approach to a wider group of attendees. The Power Circles offered participants additional opportunities to connect with peers and more experienced professionals, reflecting the emphasis the organization places on building and sustaining industry relationships.
During the event, guests were also invited to attend the 10th annual Goldie Gala Chicago, scheduled for September. That separate gathering will honor Shero Award winner Lisa Konieczka of CBRE, further extending the organization’s recognition of leaders who contribute to the commercial real estate industry and support the advancement of future talent.
