According to Hines’ 2025 Global Investment Outlook report, the year 2025 has the potential to be a crucial turning point for real estate markets worldwide. Titled “A New Dawn: Seizing Real Estate’s Moment of Opportunity,” the report outlines key trends and strategies that Hines believes will shape the global market as it enters a new cycle of growth and recovery.
Hines’ global CIO, David Steinbach, stated that we are currently in a significant transition period in terms of investment opportunities. The previous cycle was characterized by low interest rates driving growth and easy access to leverage; however, this is now being replaced by an environment where investors must focus on generating alpha.
Steinbach went on to say that 2025 could be seen as a pivotal moment for recovery across various sectors within commercial real estate.
