On Tuesday, Boston-based communications REIT American Tower Corporation announced that Eugene Noel will be assuming the role of EVP and COO, a newly created global position. Effective January 13th, he will oversee the company’s worldwide operations and IT.
Noel has been with American Tower since 2011 when he joined as SVP of U.S. Tower Operations. He was later promoted to COO before being appointed as EVP and president of the U.S. Tower Division in 2023. With over 25 years of experience in wireless real estate development and operations, including leadership roles at Sprint Nextel and LightSquared, Noel is well-equipped for his new role.
Taking over for Noel as EVP and president of the U.S. Tower Division is Richard Rossi who currently serves as SVP & General Counsel for US Towers – a position he has held since 2018 after joining American Tower in 2001.
