**Glenstar Closes 100,000 SF in Office Leases at Presidents Plaza Near O’Hare**
Chicago-based real estate firm Glenstar has signed three new office leases totaling 100,000 square feet at Presidents Plaza, a two-tower, 831,442-square-foot office complex located at 8600-8700 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue near O’Hare International Airport.
The lease agreements come in the wake of the property’s October 2024 sale to a joint venture comprising Glenstar and a private investor.
In April, Glenstar secured a 40,000-square-foot lease with FM, a global commercial property insurance and loss prevention firm. FM will relocate its regional office to Presidents Plaza from Park Ridge.
In a second deal, Do It Best, a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based home improvement retailer that acquired True Value in 2023, signed another 40,000-square-foot lease.
Additionally, current tenant Meitheal Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company, doubled its footprint with a 20,000-square-foot expansion lease, bringing its total occupancy at the property to 40,000 square feet.
Presidents Plaza benefits from its strategic location at the intersection of Cumberland Avenue and Interstate 90. The complex is surrounded by a variety of retail, dining, entertainment, and hotel options, making it a desirable destination for corporate tenants.
