**Georgetown to Welcome One of the First Hyatt Studios Hotels**
An Arizona-based real estate investment firm, Caliber Cos., has entered into an agreement with Hyatt to develop 15 new Hyatt Studios hotels—Hyatt’s latest entry into the extended-stay market. The first of these hotels will break ground soon in Georgetown, Texas.
Launched in 2023, Hyatt Studios marks the hospitality brand’s debut in the upper-midscale extended-stay segment. Each Hyatt Studios location will feature approximately 122 apartment-style suites, designed to meet the needs of both short-term and long-term travelers. Amenities will include in-room kitchens, free high-speed fiber internet, electric vehicle charging stations, complimentary grab-and-go breakfast, a 24/7 market, self-service laundry, a fitness studio, and pet-friendly accommodations.
Caliber plans to develop the 15 Hyatt Studios properties over the next three to five years, with an eye on potentially expanding the agreement if market conditions remain favorable. These projects are expected to add $400 million in assets under management (AUM) to Caliber’s platform—contributing to both strong operating margins and notable growth in recurring and one-time platform revenues.
