Gensler Appoints Co-Managing Director for DC Office

Gensler, the renowned global architecture and design firm, has announced the appointment of Kimberly (Kim) Sullivan as Co-Managing Director of its Washington, DC office. Effective June 3rd, 2024. With over 25 years of experience and eleven years at Gensler under her belt, Sullivan will join Francisco Gonzalez in leading the office. Her impressive background includes a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Virginia Tech and an MBA from University of Maryland Smith School of Business.

According to Francisco Gonzalez: “The combination of Kim’s business acumen and design expertise have made her an invaluable member to our firm. I am honored to work alongside her as we enter this new chapter for our DC office.” He further adds that with Kim’s diverse project portfolio and strong client relationships she has proven herself as a remarkable leader. Together with their talented staff in DC they will continue driving positive change within their communities.
