### Gencom Acquires The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott Courtyard in New Orleans

Gencom has acquired a prominent hospitality portfolio in New Orleans, comprising **The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans,** and the **Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans French Quarter/Iberville.** This 758-key portfolio consists of two interconnected hotel properties in the heart of the city’s historic French Quarter. The acquisition was financed by Monroe Capital, with Eastdil Secured representing both the seller in the transaction and the buyer in securing acquisition financing.

**The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans** features 528 hotel rooms and suites, along with over 48,000 square feet of event space, a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, and a 25,000-square-foot spa. Guests can also enjoy live jazz performances at the Davenport Lounge and fine dining at M Bistro.

Both hotels have undergone extensive multi-year renovations. The Ritz-Carlton received significant upgrades, including enhancements to guest rooms, public areas, and a $15 million refurbishment of its **Maison Orleans Club Level.**

The adjacent **230-key Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans French Quarter/Iberville** has also benefited from recent improvements, further elevating the guest experience.

This acquisition solidifies Gencom’s presence in the luxury hospitality sector, adding to its portfolio of high-profile properties.
