Gateway Jax Secures Approval for $500M Project

The City of Jacksonville has granted approval to developer Gateway Jax for the commencement of construction on three out of five buildings in their highly-anticipated mixed-use development in downtown. The project, estimated at $500 million, will feature 1,000 multifamily units and a significant amount of retail space within the North Core area. A timeline for completion has yet to be determined.

According to reports from the Jacksonville Business Journal, N4 is a seven-story building spanning 57,300 square feet and offering approximately 16,000 square feet of ground floor retail space along with 270 residential units and two levels dedicated to parking. N8 covers an area of 59,100 square feet and includes a proposed development featuring a towering twenty-two stories with around 530 residential units as well as second and third-floor parking facilities. Additionally there will be about62 ,000 square feet reserved for ground floor and second-floor retail spaces.

N11 is another notable structure in this ambitious project – it spans seven stories over an impressive32 ,530-square-foot footprint that encompasses approximately21 ,000squarefeetofgroundfloorretailand205residentialunits.The postGatewayJaxReceivesGreenlightfor$500MProjectappearedfirstonConnectCRE.
