"Gateway Jax: $500M Project Receives Greenlight"

The City of Jacksonville has granted approval to developer Gateway Jax to commence construction on three out of five buildings in the highly anticipated mixed-use development in downtown. The project, valued at $500 million, will feature 1,000 multifamily units and a large retail space within the North Core area. A timeline for completion has not yet been determined.

According to reports from the Jacksonville Business Journal, N4 is a seven-story mixed-use building with 57,300 square feet of space and approximately 16,000 square feet dedicated for ground floor retail. It will also include two levels of parking and 270 residential units. N8 is another building with an estimated size of 59,100 square feet that will consist of a proposed development featuring a mix-used structure spanning over twenty-two stories with around 530 residential units along with second and third-floor parking options as well as about62 ,000squarefeetofgroundfloorandsecond-floorretailspace.

N11 is planned asa seven-storymixed-useproject covering32 ,530squarefeetwithapproximately21 ,000squarefeetdedicatedfor ground floor retail useand205residentialunits.The post highlights Gateway Jax’s approval for their $500 million project without mentioning any specific names or brands associated with it.
