A new developer is looking to construct a $250 million mixed-use development on 16 acres of land near the Galveston shoreline. The project will feature a variety of restaurants and food options, as well as mid-rise condos with stunning views of the Gulf. Additionally, two apartment complexes and a medium-sized hotel are planned for the site.
According to reports from the Houston Business Journal, Mohamed Eldawy has partnered with an offshore investment group for this venture. He aims to begin construction next year pending approval from both the city of Galveston and Army Corps of Engineers.
The initial phase will include several bars and restaurants, along with a 10-12 story condo tower offering 270-300 two or three-bedroom units.
In later phases, Eldawy plans to add a seven-story hotel consisting of 120-150 rooms as well as another seven-story building featuring senior-living apartments with one or two bedrooms. Finally, there are plans for an additional apartment complex consisting of two buildings housing 270 units in total.
This exciting project promises breathtaking sea views in one-of-a-kind surroundings – perfect for those seeking luxury living by the shore.
