A study conducted by HireAHelper revealed that Massachusetts cities have experienced significant changes in corporate headquarters relocations. Waltham, MA, recorded the highest net gain with a 175% increase in new corporate HQs. Burlington followed closely with a 133% net gain and notable new residents such as Cogent Biosciences and CinCor Pharma. On the other hand, Cambridge led the nation with a 40% net loss of corporate headquarters over the past year due to its long-standing presence of biotech and pharma firms becoming relatively limited in this area according to findings from said study. These results demonstrate how dynamic relocation trends can be across different cities and states nationwide.
