Longtime owner and custom furniture designer Morlen Sinoway is offering a 15,000-square-foot commercial property in Fulton Market for sale at $9 million. Located at 1052 West Fulton Street, the three-story building has been home to Sinoway’s store – Morlen Sinoway Atelier – for over two decades. The asking price of almost $600 per square foot reflects the booming nature of the district as it continues to attract new apartments and redevelopments.
Sinoway initially purchased the site in 2000 when Fulton Market was still an up-and-coming industrial district, paying about $770,000 for it; he had previously attempted to sell it prior to pandemic times with an asking price of more than $11 million. Brokerage firm Greenstone Partners has been hired by him to market this old commercial property situated within a buzzing area that shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
