Trammell Crow Company’s Chicago office has secured a 35,021-square-foot lease for MonoSol, a sustainable material science company and division of Tokyo-based Kuraray Group. The lease was signed for the Fulton Labs campus and marks the last full floor to be occupied at 1375 West Fulton. CBRE’s Dan Lyne and Kelsey Scheive represented TCC while Colliers’ Andrew Urban and David Burden represented MonoSol in negotiations.
The deal brings the life sciences building, totaling 300,000 square feet, to nearly full occupancy with approximately 98 percent leased. This is further evidence of Chicago’s strong market for corporate relocations and expansion projects as it ranked #1 in these areas between 2021-2022 according to CBRE research.
Fulton Labs is also home to notable tenants such as Chan Zuckerberg Initiative which recently expanded its presence by leasing an additional 28,200 square feet at the facility located on North Aberdeen Street. With this latest tenant signing by TCC at Fulton Labs’ growing campus in Chicago’s thriving market , it solidifies its position as a top destination for companies seeking prime real estate opportunities within the life sciences industry.
