The Frisco City Council has given the green light to a new development that will bring mixed-use multifamily and commercial buildings to the city’s downtown Rail District. Winstead PC, an experienced developer, is spearheading the project known as Ash Residences at 3rd Street and Ash Street.
This ambitious project includes two three-story buildings spanning a total of 72,896 square feet. The development will feature a mix of residential and commercial spaces with 63 units in total – including 37 one-bedroom units and 26 two-bedroom units. Additionally, one of the buildings will house an artisan gallery space measuring at approximately1,097 square feet.
Frisco’s revitalization efforts for its downtown area also include recent renovations on Elm Street. Construction for Main Street and the upcoming construction on Fourth Street Plaza are scheduled to begin in April of2024 with completion expected by April2026.Additionally,a new parking garage is set to be built starting August2024and finishing July2025.The city plans on investing well over $100 million into these projects within five years.
This latest development marks another exciting step towards transforming Frisco’s Rail District into a vibrant hub for residents and businesses alike.
