### Friedman Properties Completes First Phase of Renovations at Reid Murdoch Building

Chicago-based real estate investment and development firm Friedman Properties has completed the first phase of renovations at the historic Reid Murdoch Building in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.

The renovations included upgrades to the building’s lobby, corridors, restrooms, and elevator cabs. A newly completed, fully furnished riverfront spec suite spans 5,388 square feet and features a lounge and collaboration space, two conference rooms, three private offices, and 29 flexible workstations.

The second phase of renovations, currently underway, will introduce a new amenity suite, including a fitness center and tenant lounge.

Friedman Properties acquired the eight-story, 320,000-square-foot Reid Murdoch Building in 1998 and completed its initial redevelopment in 2002. Located at 325 N LaSalle, the building was originally constructed in 1914 and designed by architect George C. Nimmons.

Current tenants include Whirlpool Corporation, Encyclopedia Britannica, Walton Isaacson, and Priority Sports. Additionally, the first-floor retail space is set to house an immersive theatrical experience launching this fall.
