“Fresh Market Grand Opening at Old Dom’s in Lincoln Park”

"Fresh Market Grand Opening at Old Dom's in Lincoln Park"

The former location of Dom’s Kitchen and Market in Lincoln Park will soon be home to The Fresh Market, a North Carolina-based supermarket chain. The 2730 North Halsted Street space, previously occupied by one of two Dom’s Kitchen & Market locations in Chicago that abruptly closed in April, will now be taken over by The Fresh Market.

A spokesperson for The Fresh Market has confirmed this news to Crain’s via email and stated their commitment to providing an exceptional shopping experience while honoring the legacy of Dom’s within the local community.

With 160 locations across 22 states, including four stores in Illinois (Crystal Lake, Geneva, Lake Forest and Wilmette), The Fresh Market is set to expand its presence with this new addition. Meanwhile, Foxtrot has announced plans for reopening ten Chicago locations starting with Old Town and Gold Coast under the leadership of founder Mike LaVitola.

This development marks another exciting chapter for Lincoln Park as it welcomes a well-established brand like The Fresh market into its vibrant neighborhood. Stay tuned for updates on when you can expect doors at this new location to open!
