Freddy's to Expand with 20 New Stores in Houston Area

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is expanding its presence in Texas with a 20-unit development deal in Houston. The agreement, led by franchise group Lone Star Custard, consists of three brothers – John, Nick and Joe DePinto – who were raised near Dallas.

In addition to the 20 new restaurants being developed, the DePinto brothers have also acquired 18 existing locations in the Houston market as part of this deal. Prior to this agreement, they had successfully opened and operated 24 Freddy’s restaurants throughout Texas including San Antonio,Austin,and Rio Grande Valley markets.

“We are incredibly proud of the remarkable growth and success achieved by the DePinto brothers since joining forces with Freddy’s,” stated Andrew Thengvall from Freddy’s headquarters. “Their accomplishments demonstrate our strong franchise system. We look forward to continuing our support for Lone Star Custard as they bring Freddy’s renowned quality and hospitality to more communities across Texas.”

With over 530 locations nationwide spanning across36 states,Freddy’s has an additional130+locations set for development between nowand2025.
