College Plaza, a retail center located at 7070 College Parkway in Fort Myers, Florida, has been sold for $14.6 million by CBRE Capital Markets. The 56,386-square-foot property was represented by CBRE’s Jim Shiebler and was purchased by private investors.
The sellers originally acquired the property for $3.9 million in 2010 and have maintained full occupancy over the past decade with tenants such as Ada’s Natural Market, West Marine, Pet Supermarket,and an outparcel occupied by Five Guys,Tijuana Flats,and The Good Feet Store.
The Storino Family is the new owner of College Plaza and expressed their confidence in the investment stating that after extensive research on various shopping centers throughout Florida,the combination of its prime location,strong aesthetic design,nationally recognized tenants with long-term leases,and below market rents make it a stable and successful venture for years to come.
