**Racket Sports Concept ‘Padeland’ to Transform Former Chandler Theater**

Racket sports are booming in the Phoenix area, and Chandler is the latest city to join the trend. A new development, Padeland, is set to take over the former LOOK Dine-In Cinemas space at 1 W. Chandler Blvd. The 35,000-square-foot facility is expected to open by the end of 2025.

Padeland will offer a dynamic mix of recreation and lifestyle amenities. The plans include four state-of-the-art padel courts and five pickleball courts, catering to the surge in popularity of both sports. Alongside the athletic offerings, the facility will house a full-scale craft brewery and taproom, a restaurant, a coffee shop, and flexible coworking spaces.

Designed for day-to-night use, Padeland will open early for morning matches and remain active into the evening. The venue will feature full-service food and beverage options, encouraging visitors to socialize before and after their games. The inclusion of coworking areas is aimed at serving the growing remote work community, allowing guests to be productive between matches.

Padeland represents the latest example of how racket sports are reshaping commercial spaces and community hubs across the Phoenix metro area.
