Savers Value Village has submitted permit applications to occupy the former Bartell Drugs store located at 7370 170th Ave. NE. The space, which spans 18,000 square feet, has been unoccupied since late last year. According to the Puget Sound Business Journal , the new Value Village store is expected to open in December.
Headquartered in Bellevue, Savers Value Village operates over 360 stores across the United States, Canada and Australia. CEO Mark Walsh announced plans for an additional 29 store openings this year.
The building is owned by Kent Holding LLC and connected to real estate investor Mark Langfan. Kidder Mathews represented them in this transaction . In Redmond specifically, Bartell Drugs closed its doors last year after more than two decades of operation due to parent company Rite Aid’s bankruptcy filing in 2023.
