Recently, two H-E-B supermarkets of similar size have debuted in the Houston metro area. The first, H-E-B Madera Run located in Humble and the second, H-E-B Katy Park situated in Katy Park are now serving customers with their spacious 117,000-square-foot stores.
The Humble store is conveniently located within The Groves master-planned community and across from the Pavilion at The Groves apartment complex. In front of the store stands a walk-up seafood boil stand offering a variety of options including shrimp, crawfish, crab or lobster for shoppers to choose from.
Similarly, just a few weeks prior to this opening was that of H-E-B Katy Park which is part of the 54-acre development known as The Market at Katy Park. This location also boasts a walk-up seafood boil stand outside its doors along with a fuel station for added convenience.
Additionally noteworthy is that Woodforest National Bank based out of Woodlands has opened branches within both locations mentioned above. While most branches are found inside retailers such as Walmart stores,the bank’s first retail branch was launched back in November 2022 at an H-E-B location.
